VP Finance
John Calcagno joined Piper in March 2010 as Corporate Controller and has steadily increased his contribution to the Company’s success. In May 2011, John was named Vice President of Finance. John is responsible for Financial Reporting, Treasury Management, Cost Accounting, Tax, and General Accounting.
John has extensive executive experience in the finance, operations, distribution, and sales areas. Previously, he served as a Consulting Partner with The Acerra Consortium. Prior to joining The Acerra Consortium, he served as Vice President, Director, and Controller with Alltel (Supply) Communications Products. He also has held roles of increasing responsibility with Coca-Cola, C.R. Bard, and PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where he obtained his public accounting experience.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Southern Illinois University, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and is also a veteran of the United States Air Force.
