Introducing the
Seminole DX
Coming in model year 2027, the Seminole DX delivers modern diesel performance and efficiency to Piper’s iconic twin-engine trainer. With twin DeltaHawk DHK 180 engines, exceptional fuel economy, and a cruising speed of over 178 KTAS, the DX sets a new benchmark for multi-engine trainers.
It features the same stable handling and Garmin G1000® avionics suite pilots depend on, now paired with a streamlined, jet-fuel-compatible engine configuration that extends range and reduces operating costs. Compatible with Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), the DX is designed for flight schools ready to train the next generation more sustainably. The Seminole DX delivers modern performance while staying true to the trainer trusted by generations.
