Oshkosh, WI., July 24, 2023 – Piper Aircraft is proud to partner with longtime booth neighbor and fellow OEM, Pilatus Aircraft, for a joint celebration of aviation. An invitation-only event will be held on the second day of EAA AirVenture, July 25th, that will include live entertainment, refreshments, and light hors d’oeuvres.
“We are looking forward to this celebration with our EAA AirVenture neighbors, Pilatus Aircraft,” shared John Calcagno, Piper Aircraft President and CEO. “We can’t wait to see customers, salespeople, and employees come together as a whole, brought together by their love of general aviation.”
This collaboration is the first of its kind at EAA AirVenture, with plans to host the inaugural celebration in 2020 before the pandemic happened. When AirVenture resumed in 2021 with restrictions, the two OEMs started conversations about when the right time was to host this event, with the idea finally coming to fruition this year. Both Piper and Pilatus are excited for this get-together, as there is so much to be grateful for and celebrate in the industry with no better place to do it than at the largest aviation event of the year, EAA AirVenture.
Press invitations have been sent out, so if you did not receive one, please stop by the Piper or Pilatus booth before Tuesday.
