Piper Aircraft Inc. and Aircraft Technical Publishers (ATP) announce new, electronic Pilot Operating Handbook (E-POH) libraries for Piper’s M-Class and Twin-Class aircraft using the HubConnect™ App for iPad® from ATP.
Both companies will have experts available at Piper’s static aircraft display at Fort Worth Meacham International Airport during the 2013 AOPA Aviation Summit and Airportfest on October 10-12 to demonstrate the new E-POH libraries on the iPad.
Piper models covered by ATP’s E-POH libraries for iPad include the M-Class Meridian, Matrix and Mirage, and the Twin-Class Piper Seneca V and Seminole.
These new E-POH libraries give Piper operators and owners anywhere, anytime access to the documentation necessary to support their compliance and safety efforts. All E-POH libraries from ATP include Airworthiness Directives (AD), Service Bulletins (SB), and Special Airworthiness Information Bulletins (SAIB) related to the specific aircraft model. Libraries also include Advisory Circular (AC) 43-16A maintenance alerts and the Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM). Daily revision services to all content are included with an E-POH library subscription.
“Our collaboration with ATP gives the owners and operators of Piper airplanes the most up-to-date, convenient and proven access to data necessary for the safe and efficient operation of their aircraft,” said Piper Vice President Sales and Marketing Drew McEwen. “Having the Piper POHs available on an iPad is another step in making certain that Piper customers enjoy a superior ownership experience.
“The HubConnect™ App for iPad® from ATP is a first of its kind app for general aviation that provides access to both the pilot operating handbook as well as all supplemental documentation necessary to support the safety and compliance efforts of owners and operators,” said ATP President, Rich Marino. “We feel confident that operators and owners of Piper aircraft will find great value in having these new E-POH libraries from ATP on their iPads.”
In addition to Piper pilot operating handbooks, access to all Piper maintenance publications and regulatory documents is available exclusively through the ATP Aviation Hub™ Online Service and the NavigatorV™ Desktop Platform from ATP.
