Oshkosh, WI – July 22, 2025 – Piper Aircraft today announced the delivery of a new Piper PA-44-180 Seminole to United Aviate Academy (UAA) at EAA AirVenture 2026, one year after the first announcement of UAA joining the Piper Flight School Alliance. This aircraft marks their fifth Seminole delivered, with more deliveries scheduled for the second half of 2026.

Since opening in 2022, UAA has graduated more than 400 pilots, logged more than 230,000 flight hours, and completed over 170,000 flight lessons, preparing the next generation of professional aviators. UAA is widely regarded across the flight training industry as is one of the nation’s premier pilot training academies. Specializing in providing aspiring aviators with a pathway to a career onto the flight deck at United Airlines upon successful completion of the Aviate program and United’s hiring requirements.
UAA credits the Seminole’s rugged, reliable operating characteristics and Piper’s full-service fleet support program as primary reasons for joining the Piper Flight School Alliance.
