Piper Aircraft Inc. is exhibiting single-engine M-Class business aircraft and a twin-engine Seneca V at the National Business Aviation Association’s 65th Annual Meeting and Convention, held in Orlando from Oct. 30 through Nov. 1.
In addition to the M-Class turboprop Meridian and piston-powered M-Class Mirage, the company will display a cabin and cockpit mockup of the top-of-the-line Meridian turboprop which incorporates the latest in interior design refinements for the 2013 models.
For the second consecutive year at NBAA, Piper will locate its airplanes at a special outdoor static display area. The display will be right outside the Orange County Convention Center, directly adjacent to indoor exhibits.
“The location, just outside the convention center, will give every NBAA attendee the opportunity to see for themselves the economic advantages of our M-Class single-engine business aircraft and the benefits of twin-engine turbocharged Seneca V,” said Drew McEwen, Piper Head of Global Sales and Business Development. He is responsible for the company’s worldwide dealer network, regional sales directors and global fleet sales.
“For under a million dollars, the Seneca V gives you a turbocharged twin that has higher payload, carries more fuel, delivers better performance and efficiency, has a wider, longer cabin, and a single-engine ceiling that is higher than twins which cost $400,000 more,” he said . “In addition, the turbo Seneca V has better takeoff and landing performance, especially from hot and high locations.”
