VERO BEACH, Fla. – April 22, 2014 – Piper Aircraft, Inc. recently made its first European delivery of a G1000 equipped Seminole to a Serbian customer involved in pilot training.

Prince Aviation, of Belgrade, Serbia, took delivery of the new G1000 Seminole from Piper’s manufacturing campus and delivery center in Vero Beach, Fla. Prince Aviation plans to add the aircraft to its flight training fleet. The company also provides air charter services and performs aircraft maintenance and maintenance training.

“In addition to operating air taxi services, Prince Aviation has a renowned flight school and a Part 145 maintenance center,” said Piper President and CEO Simon Caldecott. “We are appreciative of the fact that Prince Aviation is adding another Piper trainer to its multi-aircraft learning fleet.”

Prince Aviation, founded in 1990, has its main hub at the Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport. The company was the first and today is the largest VIP charter operator in the Balkans. Soon after the commercial operations started, the company established its pilot training organization which today offers a wide range of courses (from PPL to type rating training) and has trained over 1000 pilots in the last 20 years.

Piper Seminole Trainer
The Piper Seminole, with standard G1000 avionics, is an advanced training aircraft with proven reliability in more than 20 years of service and hundreds of thousands of hours in flight school environments throughout the world. Garmin’s reliable GRS77 Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS) provides accurate, digital output and referencing of aircraft position, rate, vector and acceleration data. The latest Garmin G1000 software on the Seminole includes Vertical Profile View and user-defined holding patterns.
