This June, Piper Aircraft welcomed owners, dealers and friends to Portorož, Slovenia, for our first-ever European Fly-In. Over three days at the Hotel Kempinski Palace, the event brought our European community together to celebrate, connect and strengthen relationships with those who have long supported the Piper brand.

Celebrating the Piper Community in Europe

More than 50 guests joined us from across the continent, flying in from Finland, Denmark, France, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Italy and the Netherlands. Twenty-five Piper aircraft flew in for the occasion, with the M700 Fury, M600/SLS, M350 and Seneca on display.

We were equally proud to welcome our European dealer partners, including Piper Deutschland AG, OK AVIATION Sales, European Aircraft Sales, SIMAVIA, Flying Smart and British European Aviation. Their participation highlighted the strong network supporting Piper owners across Europe.

A Weekend to Remember

The weekend began Friday evening with a welcome reception that set the stage for connection and conversation. Saturday morning brought everyone together again for a breakfast seminar, before shifting into a series of unique excursions designed to showcase the best of Slovenia. Guests toured the countryside in vintage olive vans, discovered local truffle fields and explored the dramatic Dimnice Cave.

Piper Fly-In guests explore Tartini Square in Piran, Slovenia, surrounded by historic pastel-colored buildings and the town’s clocktower. Guests gather on a stone terrace overlooking the sea during the Piper European Fly-In welcome reception in Portorož, Slovenia.

As the sun set, the group set sail for Piran.  After walking through the historic seaside town, guests gathered for cocktails and dinner at Villa Tartini, the historic home of Italian composer Giuseppe Tartini. It was here that attendees cast their votes to decide the next European Fly-In destination: Menorca, Spain, where the community will gather again June 14-16, 2026.

Deepening Connections Across Europe

This inaugural European Fly-In was a milestone for Piper. The event gave us invaluable feedback on what owners expect from the brand and reinforced the pride and loyalty that define the Piper community. More importantly, it gave us the chance to say thank you to our amazing European community.

We returned from Portorož with renewed excitement, stronger relationships and a deeper commitment to serving our European customers. We look forward to building on this momentum in Menorca next year!
