One of the newest additions to campus is an employee cafe Piper designed to make the workday a little warmer and more connected. With a barista on site, it gives employees and visitors an easy place to grab coffee, pause for a few minutes and spend time together.
More than anything, it adds another natural gathering place to campus. It’s a space for quick conversations, familiar routines and the kind of everyday connection that helps a workplace feel like a community.
A Renovated Lobby That Welcomes Everyone In
First impressions start in the lobby, whether it’s a visitor, a new hire or someone coming back after time away. So we gave it a full renovation: a cleaner, more functional space built for real conversation, not just a hallway people cut through.
Now, paired with the new cafe, it gives people somewhere to gather rather than just pass through. For employees, that means a comfortable spot to meet a visiting family member for lunch or grab a seat with a coworker between meetings.
Family-First Moments at the Vero Beach Air Show
During the Vero Beach Air Show and the celebration of America’s 250th, Piper set up a tent honoring veterans, giving attendees a quiet place to gather and reflect during one of the town’s biggest annual events.
Behind the scenes, Piper covered lunch during Air Show practice days for the crew handling logistics and setup, the people putting in early mornings and long hours while everyone else had their eyes on the planes.
Together, those efforts are a reminder that the Piper family includes the broader community that has helped shape the company over time.
